Documenters explored San Diego’s Balboa Park. Here’s what they found

Twelve members of inewsource’s Documenters program explored the park and interviewed visitors. Their notes, photos and voice memos helped us paint a comprehensive picture of the beloved park that represents seemingly everything for San Diegans — a tourist attraction, community park, cultural center, sports complex, playground, dog park and so much more.

What they found was a mixture of love and awe for San Diego’s crown jewel even as it crumbles.
